If you have multiple problems please don’t be offended if we ask you to return to discuss this in another appointment if we feel we cannot deal with this adequately in the time we have.

Patients who feel have a problem that needs attention on the day and are unable to wait until the next routine appointment, please phone in the morning, before 10am. The receptionist will ask you for a brief description of your medical emergency to allow the GP to assess the urgency of your problem.

Sometimes surgeries have to be changed at short notice. In this respect it is useful for us to have a daytime telephone contact number for patients, e.g. work or mobile phone.

Patients are able to consult with any of the doctors in the Practice.

SMS Text messaging service is now available, please ask reception for more details

Extended Hours

The Surgery will remain open until 6.45pm on alternating Tuesday and Wednesday evenings to offer both doctor and nurse appointments.

Interpreting Service

If you feel you require an interpreter to accompany you at a consultation please inform reception who will clarify your needs before contacting the Glasgow Interpreting Service.

Telephone Advice

The doctors are available for telephone consultations daily. Please ask the receptionist who will take your details and request the doctor to phone you. We are unable to give a specific time when the doctor will call but will always endeavour to call back by the end of the day.

General medical advice is available 24 hours per day via NHS 24 by dialling 111. This call is free.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else. Appointments can be cancelled up to 20 minutes before the appointment time.
